Commitments

A commitment ceremony can be used in a number of situations where a couple wish to express their love and commitment to each other. It is popular between same gender couples but is also used for couples who wish to make a public commitment before becoming married at a later time. It is also used when couples become engaged but the current situation is prohibiting the legal marriage of the couple.

Commitment ceremonies can take any form, and can be written to be specific to the couple's circumstances.

I look forward to working with couples who want an original and personal ceremony to reflect their love and commitment in terms that are meaningful to them.

Renewals

Many couples choose to renew their vows. This can take place on anniversaries or at any other significant point. The renewal is not just for couples who have been married a long time, but can also be a lovely way to celebrate other milestones such as first anniversary or first child. It is also a popular ceremony for couples who could not have all their friends or family at their weddings, or who were married interstate or overseas.

The renewal ceremony is written to be meaningful and unique to the couple and their circumstances. Often, couples use vows and readings from their original marriage ceremony, with vows being repeated, adjusted or newly created. The renewal is a meaningful and joyful occasion as the couple reflect on their time together and move on to the next phase of their life together.
